LOCAL NURSE PRACTITIONER AUTHOR JOINS ADVISORY BOARD
Fort Lauderdale, FL (August 26, 2013) On Wednesday, August 14, 2013, Carolyn Zaumeyer, MSN, ARNP was invited to serve on the Advisory Board for the privately held company BioTE Medical, Dallas, Texas. BioTE is a Multiple Services Organization (MSO) that is committed to excellence in educating both doctors and patients about Bio Identical Hormone Pellet Therapy. BioTE Medical is headquartered in Irving, Texas with hundreds of Certified Medical Practitioners providing pellet therapy nationwide. BioTE was founded by Physicians and is passionate about teaching how hormone balance using the BioTE Method is the ultimate foundation and direction to good health. The Certified BioTE Practitioners and Partners provide superior diagnoses and treatments for patients who want to get healthy and or stay healthy. Carolyn was the first BioTE Medical Certified Practitioner in Florida.
Nurse practitioner Carolyn Zaumeyer has been specializing in women’s health (gynecology) for more than 20 years. She is the author of two books and more than 27 publications, and is an established public speaker, having presented nationally and internationally at more than 80 conferences.
After establishing the first independent nurse practitioner practice in Florida in 1994, Carolyn has become a well-known expert and resource for nurse practitioners embarking on business ownership.
Duke University has invited Carolyn to serve on the Advisory Board for the Duke-Johnson & Johnson Nurse Leadership Fellowship Program. They have asked her to teach the Marketing section and to lead a coaching circle with the Fellows.
Over the years, Carolyn has served on the Editorial Advisory Board for the Practice Management Journal and has served as an adjunct faculty member at Broward College, at Florida International University (FIU), and at Florida Atlantic University (FAU) in their nursing and graduate studies programs. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the South Florida Council of Advanced Practice Nurses.
Carolyn has traveled throughout the United States and has studied under the most prominent experts in Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) – Dr. Sangeeta Pati in Orlando, Dr. Neil Rouzier in Salt Lake City, Dr. Daved Rosensweet in Naples, Florida and Dr. Gary Donovitz in Dallas. She is knowledgeable in all of the delivery methods of hormone replacement, and is especially excited and satisfied with the BioTE pelleting system. Carolyn was the first BioTE Medical Certified Practitioner in Florida.
