LowTE Florida® interview explaining why I recommend supplements with hormone therapy
“Everyone at Low TE is amazing. Had some difficulty with website and orders in the past. Customer service was always quick to take care of the problem and is very professional and polite. Thank you for your great service.”
Sincerely, Denis Souders
People commonly ask me why it is important to use certain brands of supplements vs. over the counter (OTC) supplements that can be purchased at outside stores or online. Is your OTC DIM the same thing that you can get at LowTE Florida? In a word-NO. Unlike prescription medications, OTC supplements are not regulated by the FDA and do not have to adhere to the same strict guidelines. There are literally thousands of OTC supplement companies, and they all say the same things about their products – pure, high quality, etc., etc. – but usually they are not able to back up those claims. OTC and MLM supplement companies are good at marketing their products and have huge marketing budgets for flashy ads and materials, but this does not mean that they are supplying good nutritional supplements.
Practitioner grade supplements that can be prescribed only by a practitioner are manufactured to the same strict standards as pharmaceutical drugs. OTC
supplements at your local convenience store are not. Integrative practitioners prescribe vitamins and other nutrients the way other doctors prescribe drugs. We are intentionally trying to alter your biochemistry. The difference is that we are doing it in a safe and natural way instead of messing it up with more medications.
LowTE Florida supplements are all produced in the United States in highly regulated and certified facilities. We test our supplements regularly at outside labs assuring that you are getting pure high quality nutritional supplements.
